Data Reveals Complex Landscape of Homeschooling in Knox County

More than 6,700 records provided by Knox County schools show a detailed scenario of homeschooling in the region. The survey helps to understand the evolution of this educational model over the years.

Before vaccines were available, about 1,800 children were homeschooled in the locality, compared to 829 in the previous period. Even years after the start of the pandemic, more than 1,000 children continue to be consistently homeschooled in the county.
